In an effort to enhance the Philippines’ sardine industry and contribute more meaningfully to the economy and the lives of Filipinos, Mega Global highlighted its various initiatives on National Sardines Day.
One of the initiatives of Mega Global is the Mega Bigay Sustansya (MBS) which was a collaboration with the Reach Out Feed Philippines (ROFP). Mega Bigay Sustansya (MBS) is a CSR program run by the Mega Tiu Lim Foundation that intends to feed children nationwide through the planning and distribution of nutrient-packed high-quality sardine meals.
Mega Global is also undertaking several initiatives aimed at advancing the sardine industry through new infrastructure and innovations that will help them produce their products sustainably. Moreover, over the past 46 years, Mega Global has provided job opportunities for thousands of Filipinos.
As part of the celebration, Mega Global hosted an online game show with the tagline Mega Sardines: Sarap, Saya, Sustansya. They also announced a Tiktok Challenge and piso sales on Shopee for Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce, Tomato Sauce with Chili Added, Corned Sardines, and Mega Fried Sardines.
Red Torch helped Mega Global’s celebration of National Sardine’s Day reach its marketing and branding goals by making sure that every message resonated with its target audiences. Red Torch also produced a consistent, powerful brand identity that embodied its values and vision. Furthermore, Red Torch worked on developing event strategies and managing their communications, such as press releases and social media campaigns.
